The company Occhipinti Latticini di Fattoria was officially born in the 90s but the craft and art of preparing ricotta, provola, Ragusano Dop and dairy products in general it is as old as Sicily itself and has been handed down from generation to generation to all members of the family of Giuseppe Occhipinti.
The products, all made in an artisanal way, are those that can always be found in the splendid farms of the Iblei: The iblea ricotta from cow’s milk, Ragusano DOP, provolone, flavored caciottas, mozzarella and dairy products in general.
Following in the footsteps of the ancient and traditional, new products are then designed and created, often the result of the creativity and passion of those who love this work and are proud of the appreciation with which it is paid.
For almost 25 years, the organic farming system has been implemented as regards the feeding of livestock (pastures, fodder and cereals).
All products are made from freshly milked milk, with the addition of natural rennet. The quality of the milk is checked daily.
